ラ・フルール・ド・ゲは、シャトー・ペトリュスとラ・フルールの間に植わっていたメルロの老木の区画からラ・クロワ・ド・ゲの贅沢なキュヴェとして1982年にアラン・レイノー博士が生産を開始しました。この強烈なフルボディのワインの醸造と育成を監督しているのは著名なワインコンサルタント、ミシェル・ロランです。100%メルロから作られるこのワインは現在入手しにくく、探し出すのが困難なアイテムの1つとなっています。

La Fleur de Gay, a Burgundian approach rooted in Bordeaux culture.Since 1477, the Raynaud-Lebreton family has been the only one watching over Chateau La Fleur de Gay. The 2-hectare vineyard of Chateau La Fleur de Gay extends entirely on the high terrace of Pomerol. Three parcels make up the vineyard, representing three complementary and synergistic expressions. - The "La Fleur" parcel, made up of pure clay, is located between P?trus and La Fleur P?trus.- The "Gay" parcel, which rests on a thick mantle of gravel, is next to Chateau Lafleur.- The "Groupey" parcel, a terroir of Gunzian gravel on a clay subsoil, is next to Chateaux Trotanoy and Le Pin. Since 1982, the family has combined the Burgundian idea of "climats", the exceptional individuality of each of these three terroirs, with the Bordeaux culture of blending to create one of the highest expressions of the Pomerol appellation. The 2021 vintage2021 harvest was perfectly ripe and aromatic.The very moderate extractions allowed us to obtain a fresh, very fruity wine with a complete and harmonious structure and a good balance.The 2021 vintage is a good to very good vintage that really improve during its first months of barrels ageing.
