サンジュリアン村に位置し、元々1つのシャトー・だったものが分割され、ラスカーズ、ポワフェレ、バルトンとなりましたが、ラスカーズはその３つの中でも最も繊細であると言われています。所有する畑はあのシャトー・ラトゥールに1本の小川を挟んで隣接し、「サンジュリアンの王」とも言われるほどその品質は高く評価されています。現在メドック格付け２級でありながら、第一級に格上げされるべきと言われるほど、人気の高いシャトーです。

One of the Delon family properties since 1901. Chateau L?oville Las Cases is qualified as ?Super Second?.These terroirs are located mainly in the Clos of L?oville Las Cases, which you pass as you leave the Saint-Julien village in the direction of Pauillac. One part is located right next to Chateau Latour. They extend over nearly 60ha producing Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc with a complex, polished expression and characteristics which are totally unique to the Grand Vin of L?oville du Marquis de Las Cases and that have been widely recognized for years.The wines age beautifully and can last for decades with a great level of intensity. To taste an old L?oville Las Cases is to always taste something special, and often surprising.The vintageThis vintage was marked in the vineyard by an early start, a late finish and sudden increases in power requiring the reactivity of the teams at every stage and in every aspect of the vineyard's support. Despite these perilous climatic conditions, the final ripening was complete and homogeneous. The great early and unique terroir of L?oville Las Cases produced great Cabernets, deep and elegant, complex and straightforward, as well as smooth and aerial Merlots. A noble, fresh and rich Grand Vin de L?oville Las Cases with a beautiful aromatic complexity, signing this vintage with an extreme elegance.
