ワイナリーについて
グラーヴ・ペサックレオニャン。この土地の特徴的な地質で育まれた赤葡萄品種により、このシャトーが造る赤ワインも栄光を遂げています。1936年12月、イングランド王である皇帝の戴冠式を祝うためのワインとしても選ばれました。特徴的なラベルは、1930年代初めに当時流行していたアールデコに感化され、「金と砂の縞」をテーマにデザインし、シャトー・ラトゥール・マルティヤックの象徴にもなりました。

Latour-Martillac, a reference in the Pessac-Leognan appellationThe estate takes its name from the tower which stands in the main courtyard of the Chateau; it is the remnant of a fort built in the 12th century by the ancestors of Montesquieu. The stones of the fort were used to build the existing Chateau at the end of the 18th century.In 1871, Edouard Kressmann, who had just founded his trading house in Bordeaux, fell in love with this estate. He was seduced by the quality of the white wines grown on a remarkable gravelly hilltop with marked relief and outstanding exposure.Thanks to the long involvement of generations of the Kressmann family, and the recognition shown in 1953 by the classification of Graves, the wines of Chateau Latour-Martillac feature among the best of Pessac-L?ognan.Edouard Kressmann tells you about this vintage: https://bit.ly/LatourMartillacBlanc2021Tasting NotesChateau Latour-Martillac 2021 is a promising white vintage. The wine is very fruity with notes of citrus and exotic fruits.
